Fall Campout - 2011

Friday – October 7^th

6:00pm Nature Craft – Corn Husk Dolls

8:30pm Movie – Amphitheater

Activities will be held at the Big Tent

Saturday – October 8^th

10:00am – 12:00pm Catch of the Day – We provide the poles and bait (but bring your own if you have one); the catching is up to you.

Dissecting a Fish – Get up close and personal with the fish you caught

Meet at the Marina near the Bait Shop for both activities

10:00am – 12:00pm Registration for Campsite Decorating Contest

10:00am – 3:00pm Open Corn Hole Games – All Ages, No Tournaments

Open Volleyball – All Ages, No Tournaments

1:00pm – 3:00pm Skins and Skulls and More… – A variety of Native Animals

2:00pm – 3:00pm Pups on Parade – Dog Decorating Contest

4:00pm – 5:00pm Trick or Treating – Campground Entrance and Part of Main Roadway will be closed during this time

Arrowheads – Come watch arrowheads being made

8:00pm – 10:00pm Hayrides – Come enjoy an evening hayride, Voting for site decorating contest will commence; stop at the Big Tent after ride to complete ballots

9:30pm Marshmallow Roast – Campfire Stories, please bring chairs and roasting sticks

10:00pm Site Decoration Contest – Site Decorating Voting Closes

All Activities will be held at the Big Tent

Sunday – October 9^th

9:30am All Park Potluck Breakfast – Everyone please bring a dish to share with others, along with your own drink and eating utensils; Winners of Site Decorating Contest will be announced during Breakfast

The following Programs will be offered depending on Weather,

Availability of Equipment and Timeframe

All youth under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all programs

Please do not bring pets to programs

Speed Limit in the Campground is 10 mph
